The Guildhall offers a unique wedding venue that combines heritage, charm, and total versatility.

The distinctive 16th century oak panelled Court Room with stained-glass windows offers an atmospheric and unique venue for Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremonies, with up to 60 guests. The equally charming historic Jury Room is also licenced and offers a perfect alternative location for slightly larger ceremonies, with up to 80 guests.

With a choice of historic and modern reception rooms, The Guildhall can accommodate a maximum of 200 guests and offers a venue for a perfectly bespoke, affordable, and distinctive wedding day. Whether you are planning a large or smaller, more intimate celebration, The Guildhall has the ambience and flexibility to provide the perfect venue for a truly wonderful and memorable Wedding Day.

Rooms available

The choice of rooms available allows you the flexibility to use them to best suit your individual plans, taking into consideration your guest numbers. You could choose to hold your wedding ceremony in either the Court Room or Jury Room, followed by welcome drinks in The Gallery, an afternoon tea or sit-down wedding breakfast (prepared in our professional kitchen) in The Jury Room, rounding off a memorable day with music, dancing, and a buffet supper in The Delf.
